TAGS organized multiple events each year for professionals and advocates in Tarrant County working to meet the needs of older adults. Our core events include:

Summer Forum

The TAGS Summer Forum is a conference held every July. The first Summer Forum was held in 1992. This day-long conference is designed to inspire, educate and motivate professionals in the field of aging.  The conference also provides a great opportunity for networking and meeting other professionals in the field of aging.

After Hours CEU Mixers

This educational mixer is designed to educate and bring together professionals in the field of aging in a relaxed atmosphere.  It also provides a great opportunity for networking and meeting other professionals in the field of aging.  NOTE: only one (1) business category allowed per event.  Sponsor a CEU Mixer for $300 and receive: Recognition on the TAGS website / link to company website + Recognition on the Event Marketing flyer / e-blast.

Spring Ethics Conference

The TAGS Ethics Conference typically offers 6 hours of Ethics CEUs for social workers, licensed professional counselors, certified senior advisers and nurses.  

Faith Based Bridge Forum

The Faith Based Bridge Forum offers 3 hours of CEUs for social workers, licensed professional counselors and certified senior advisors. The venue will be the Lena Pope @ Amon Carter Center and we will be accepting a limited number of sponsors for each event. 

Quarterly Luncheon Meetings

These luncheon meetings are held at the American Cancer Society office and include a presentation by a local professional. Lunch is sponsored and 1 hour of CEUs are proficed for social workers and LPCs who are current TAGS members.
