Get Involved

Are you interested in getting involved with TAGS and its’ commitment in Education, Networking and Advocacy in Tarrant County? We have volunteer opportunities. Please review the following and if you are interested, fill out the online form. The only requirement is that you must be a current TAGS member.

Faith Based Bridge Committee:

This Committee was created by professionals serving the senior population in Tarrant County in order to network and share information with faith based leadership who may not be aware of the vast resources available in our area to assist and care for seniors. There will be monthly meeting and Round Table Breakfasts.

Programs Committee:

Develop programs and secure the speakers for the various events throughout the year including Ethics, Faith-Based, Quarterly Meetings, Summer Forum, and Educational Happy Hours.

Scholarship Committee:

Fundraising for the TAGS Scholarships as well as interviewing candidates and awarding scholarships. TAGS has awarded thousands of dollars throughout the years to assist those seeking to further their education in the field of aging.

Summer Forum Committee:

Plans the day long event held every July. Includes the planning of a new, engaging and exciting theme, speakers / topics, marketing, soliciting sponsors and vendors and reaching out to professionals in the aging communities to participate in the Forum to learn about current or hot topics regarding all aspects of senior care.
