Retirement...for many working adults it's a life event equivalent on the anticipation-meter to the driver's license for the teenager. Many have pictured what that ideal retirement will look like...world travel, increased leisure time to enjoy hobbies, possibly a new career, etc., but do we have a well-defined plan how to make that image a reality? Too often, everyday life pressures and demands prevent much future planning to achieve that dream retirement.
Tarrant Area Gerontological Society, along with Broadway Baptist Church's Life Enrichment Ministry invites you to a day-long conference that will introduce a variety of topics and issues that need to be considered when planning for retirement. With an understanding of the topics presented, and some pre-planning, attendees will have some of the tools they need to chart the course to the retirement of their choice.
